Here is some basic data on the TGXK-05 module.

What's a TGXK-05 ? It's a Tach generator that we make for hybrid cars applications or diesel vehicles.  We modify a XK05 module internally with resistors.  We then flash it with a specific software.  When programmed as per the instructions it will output a simulated tach signal on the GREEN wire.

Check the attached documents for installation and programming steps.

When testing this module you will want to check the output on the GREEN wire.

Testing using a computer safe probe: Probe will alternate between RED and GREEN very rapidly.

Testing using a DMM set to DC V : if ground on the BROWN wire = 6.75V

                                                    if no ground on the BROWN wire= 13.60V

When this module is in use (ground on the BROWN) the RED LED is on.
